Valuation Team
As a co-founder of ValueLink, Mr. William Chen is mainly responsible for strategic planning, brand management, human resources and product development. He is also responsible for the organization structure and channel expansion of ValueLink Valuation.
Mr. William Chen has over 15 years of experience in financial sector. His career began in a financial department of a Fortune Global 500 company. He then joined a world-renowned asset valuation firm where he participated in and led many valuation assignments for listed or IPO candidates in China, US and Hong Kong stock exchanges, covering M&A, assets stripping, project financing, restructuring, initial public offering (IPO), fairness opinions and valuation on statutory purposes in China. Mr. William Chen specializes in handling large-scale acquisition transactions and complicated derivative financial products. He is also skilled at handling computer programming language such as VB, Visual Studio, C++ and Matlab.
Mr. William Chen holds a MBA degree of Tsinghua University. He is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV).
Ms. Cindy Liu is a director of ValueLink Valuation, internal quality control department. Her focus is placed on the internal quality control, model development and internal training.
Ms. Cindy Liu is a valuation specialist with more than 10 years of relevant experience. Ms. Cindy Liu’s career began in a world-class valuation company and she then joined the valuation team of the Big Four accounting firm. Before joining ValueLink Valuation, she worked as a senior manager in the valuation department of Big Four accounting firm. She participated in and led in the valuation and business modelling services, including business, intangible assets, real properties as well as plant and equipment valuation exercises, for MNCs and SOEs, covering a broad spectrum of industries, including industrial products, automotive, chemicals, TMT, real estate, electrical industry, semiconductor, construction industry, energy and utility, infrastructure, e-commerce, and other industry sectors.
Ms. Cindy Liu has accumulated extensive experiences in valuation and expertise over valuation practice. She is specialized in the conduction and review of business, intangible assets, financial instruments, real properties and fixed assets valuation.
Ms. Cindy Liu holds a bachelor degree in engineering of Shanghai Jiaotong University. Ms. Cindy Liu is also a Public Valuer.
Actuarial Team
As the director of the newly established actuarial department, Ms. Peng is currently in charge of both actuarial appraisal valuation and actuarial consulting.
Ms. Peng has been an actuary for over 10 years with extensive experiences in actuarial valuation for the market value of liabilities, pricing for various risk factors, auditing and revising various risk rates, and checking compliance etc., where she has developed an advanced tool for the insurance company to price large value policies and to evaluate the market value of the liabilities. She used to work for a top 3 US personal line insurance company and then became an actuarial consultant with Ernst & Young USA. She has participated and led various actuarial valuation and consulting projects, responsible for developing the overall actuarial approach, preparing and analyzing the data and documents, establishing the actuarial models, being the PMO and key communicator with the clients, presenting the results to the higher management, auditors and regulators, etc.
Ms. Peng has achieved FCAS (Fellow of Casualty Actuarial Society) certification as well as a Master degree in Statistics from San Diego State University and a Bachelor degree in management from Sun Yat Sen University.
Mr. Albert Li is a senior manager of Valuelink actuarial department. He is responsible for both actuarial appraisal valuation and IFRS 9 ECL modelling projects.
Mr. Albert Li has over 8-year experience in valuation and actuarial consulting. He is an expert in liability valuation, risk pricing and data analytics. His career began in a medium size insurance company as an actuarial analyst. Then he worked in “Big 4” consulting firm as a manager. He participated in many valuation and consulting projects, including independent review of liability, data analytic and insurance product development.
Mr. Albert Li has a master degree in actuarial science of Central University of Finance and Economics. And he is an associate member of China Actuarial Association.
